If you’ve not heard about Brillsville Market in St Thomas, you’re missing out! This fantastic market was set up in 2022 by local resident, Sophie. Located in the car park behind The Kings Arms off Cowick street, it showcases the best local produce and makers, lots of tasty treats, a repair café and an activity to keep the kids entertained.
The market was at risk of closing in 2023 but with a little help from the Community Builder a meeting was called, and five new members of the St Thomas community stepped up to form the Brillsville Market Committee. The market has gone from strength to strength and is a fantastic asset for St Thomas and Exeter. If you enjoy repairing things and have sewing, mechanic or engineering skills, please get in touch as the repair café could do with a few more volunteers.
The next market dates are 10 August 2024, 14 September 2024, 12 October 2024, 9 November 2024 and 14 December 2024.
