Community Connectors recently visited the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, to experience a 'Monthly Meet-up'. The group session was focused on the Museum’s ‘"artmoor: A Radical Landscape" exhibition and started with a warm welcome from Susy, the Meet-Up Coordinator.
We were introduced to the curator who shared their expert knowledge about artwork displayed in the Museum. There was plenty of time to look at the art and ask questions before refreshments were served. This offered an opportunity for the group to reflect on what we had learned or observed during the tour. The conversation flowed with good humour. Overall, the session was well-paced, informative and a gentle way to connect with others.
