Here are some resources that you may find useful if you are struggling. If there is immediate danger:

  • Call First Response (Devon Partnership Trust Crisis Team) on 0808 196 8708, details here - you will be contacted by the Crisis Team within 4 hours

  • ​Contact your GP and ask for a welfare check - they will normally do it the same day or the next day according to the time

  • The Mooring Hub, Wonford House, Dryden Road, Exeter EX2 5AF, call 07990 790920 (Open Monday-Friday including bank holidays 10:00am-10:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 1:30pm-10:30pm), details here

  • YoungMinds Crisis Messenger offering urgent support for young people experiencing a mental health crisis, text ‘YM’ to 85258, details here

  • Kooth, a free safe and anonymous 24/7 online support for young people, details here

SUICIDE SAFETY PLAN

A safety plan is a tool for helping someone navigate suicidal feelings and urges. It can also be a way for you and the person you’re supporting to plan how to communicate and check in with each other going forwards.
